Greetings from my happy place

Hello. Today I am sharing a card I made using elements from Hero arts - June My monthly hero kit and one of the add on stamp sets.

I am from the coast of Norway and I love the sound of the ocean against rocks and shore and the sound of seagulls shouting so this card really shows my happy place.

I made the background using the layered sea stamps and inks from the main June My monthly hero kit. I turned it upside down to create waves in the sea. The sky was made using distress ink in the "salty ocean" color. I also made some clouds using the layered cloud stamps using grey and white inks.

For the images I turned to the "Seas the day seagulls" stamp set and stamped some seagulls, a couple of logs to sit on and the light house. I also printed the pier from Pixelpaperprints and colored all the images with my copic markers.

Finally I stamped the sentiment from the main kit and highlighted stripes in the sea and the windows in the light house using Wink of stella shimmer pen.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
* A blog named Hero - Summertime fun
* Double D Challenges - Nautical Challenge
* Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge - Red, white and blue
