Hello girl

It's time to share my second guest designer project for Time Out challenges and today's card is also a card made with the theme "Item in your wardrobe" in mind.

I had this VERY old embellishment in a box filled with small treasures. It was a banner wrapped around a tiny clothes hanger and the second I found it I felt the need to make a dress for the hanger.

I used only left over bits of ribbon to make this dress; A pink silk ribbon for the top, a narrow, white ribbon for the neckline, a combined silk and lace ribbon for the skirt and also a piece of pearl "ribbon" for the necklace. I cut pieces to size and glued them together. Not a single stitch made by me. All cheeting with glue.

When the dress was done I hanged it on the clothes hanger and then I just had to stare at it for a while because it was so damn cute.

I then needed to hang the dress somewhere and I decided to make a room in Paris for it. I die cut a window using a Poppy stamps die ("Small madison window") and lightly colored it using a copic marker (C1) to create a bit of shadow. The shadows hardly show at all in the pictures unfortunately. I then masked and inked a light blue sky and green lawn on a piece of cardstock and glued a Simple Stories Eiffel tower to the scene, before I glued the scene behind the window.

I found a piece of left over patterned paper and a greyish brown piece of cardstock to create floor and wall paper. I also used a thin strip of white cardstock as baseboard in my room.

I found a piece of string and glued it across the top part of the card panel, glued the window over it and placed my dress on the string and secured it with lots of glue.

I finished my card with a sentiment from the same sticker sheet by Simple Stories as the Eiffel Tower and glued my card panel to a white card base.

The result is a very cute card for a cute girl.

I thank the Time Out challenge design team for having me the last couple of weeks and encourage you all to join this fun challenge. I've had a blast!
