Squeeze the day
It's winter and darkness is almost complete the whole day here in Norway, at least now when the rain has removed almost all the snow as well. No light means that one needs something bright yellow; enter the lemons!
So The Male Room are back with the first challenge of 2020 and we are starting with an "Anything goes"-challenge this year. Create what you like, as long as it could be used for a male.
For my card I used one of my Pink and Main crafty courtyard kits that I haven't used yet. I started by stamping the images on copic friendly card stock. I created a couple of masks to make the cluster of lemons the way I wanted them. I also stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set above the images.
I colored the lemons using copic markers in the colors Y11, Y13, Y15,
Y19, YG11, YG17 and G28. I also created a few highlights and details
using a white gel pen.
I cut out the middle part of the front lemon and glued the cut out part on a seperate piece of paper. I backed thehole with some acetate and created a fun shaker box and filled it with the oh-so-fun fruit shaped shaker elements from the kit. I picked only the ones in green and yellow for my shaker.
I cut my panel to size, backed it with some lime colored dot patterned paper from the kit and glued the whole thing to a white card base.
I hope you will join us in this very easy start on the new year.
I am also adding this card to the following challenges:
* Crafty sentiments designs - Anything goes
* A place to start - Anything goes + optional twist CAS
* AAA Birthday - #9 Shaker card
