Poppies in Venice
Hi everyone. I'm up on the A Blog Named Hero challenge blog today to end this month's Clean and Simple theme by showing you the card below using all kinds of Hero Arts goodness.
I started this card by cutting white cardstock to a long rectangle that made my image panel. I then stamped my poppies using the Color layering poppy stamp set. For the flowers I used the colors: Pale tomato, Red Royal and a red reactive from the My Monthly hero July 2018 kit. For the stems and buds I used the colors Forever green and Green hills.
I arranged the flowers on the rectangle and tied a red bow around the whole panel before popping it up on foam tape on a white card base.
I used one of the dies from the My Monthly Hero April kit and cut the white Venice buildings and glued them directly on the card base to make it look like it goes across the whole card.
To finish this poppies in Venice card I stamped the sentiment "Wishing you the best" also from the April My Monthly Hero kit.
