Fluttering thursday

It's time for a fluttery challenge at Cardz 4 Galz today and I have made this kind of summery card. I'm feeling very cold at the moment so this card warms me a little.

I made this card using die cuts that I got in a happy mail envelope from a sweet crafty friend. I loved the flowers and the big butterfly, but I have no idea who manufactures this sweetness unfortunately.

Anyway. I made the background panel using a lovely navy patterned paper and a white panel on the middle of it. I then glued on my flowers.

I cut a rectangle panel from the whole thing using a stitched rectangle die before I colored the white cardstock very lightly with light blue distress inks.

To finish the card I glued on my butterfly glueing only the middle part of it to make it a bit fluttery and I drew on a flight pathending behind the flowers.

I stamped the sentiment from a stamp set from Hero Arts my monthly hero kit and dotted a few Nuvo drops around the butterfly.

I glued the finished panel on a white card base.

I am joining the following challenges with this card:

  2. Lovely card. Great idea leaving the butterfly wings unstuck to add dimension, it really looks as if it is about to fly off the card! Thank you for sharing at Path of Positivity. Pippa DT
