You are vibrant
Good morning! It's yet again time for a new challenge at The Male Room challenge blog and this time our theme is the great outdoors.
I have to admit that I am kind of obsessed with my own card this time! You know that feeling when you are so happy with your own work that you feel the urge to screem. I have been screeming for two days about this card! lol
Well...this is masking bonanza and aaaalmost a one layer card. The fishing boy, the cat, the boat, the straws and the ducks are from the "Fishin hole" stamp set by hello Bluebird. The trees are from the "Let's play" stamp set and the moose is from "Critters in the arctic" stamp set. Both of these stamp sets are by Lawn Fawn.
I colored the whole image using my Copic markers and highlighted some of the elements using a white gel pen. I love how vibrant the image turned out and how well the images from Hello Bluebird and lawn Fawn works together.
I heat embossed the white sentiment on a piece of brown cardstock. The sentiment is from the september My monthly hero kit.
I cut the image to size using a Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle die and stretched it by letting the die hang outside my cutting area on my diecutting machine and lining the paper up on the die again from the other side.
Lastly I mounted the colored card panel on a white pocket that I folded and created a pull notch and tab by using dies from the new "Double slider surprise" die set from Lawn Fawn. I glued the tab onto a white tag that fits inside the pocket.
I hope you will join us in out great outdoorsy weeks on The Male Room.
I am entering this card in the following challenges:
* Lawn Fawnatics - Something old, something new (30.09)
* Cards in envy - Feels like fall (30.09)
