Sticking with me
It's almost valentine's day, but in my part of the world we are not celebrating much Valentine's day. So this is a card that could be a Valentine's day card, but probably will end up as a cute card for someone I love on a compleatly different occation.
So The Male Room is back with a new challenge. This time the theme is "I heart you". For the background I used a embossing folder by Tim Holtz. I then cut a couple of trees using dies by Uniquely Creative and patterned paper by Pink and Main. I love those trees. I gave the tree trunks a bit of shadow using a couple of brown copic markers.
I stamped the extremely cute dogs using a stamp by Newton's Nook and colored them using copic markers. I also stamped and colored three hearts from the same stamp set. I gave the images a few highlights using a white gel pen.
I glued the trees and grass on the embossed background and raised the dogs and hearts up on foam tape to create some dimension. I then attatched the card panel on a white card base.
For my sentiment I cut another tree top in white cardstock, brushed the edges using leftover blue ink on my blending brush and the result was a cute shape that could be either a cloud or maybe a thought bubble... I popped the sentiment up on foam tape and glued it to the card and cut the excess off.
I hope you will share your male valentine cards or other lovey dovey cards for different occations with us.
I am adding this card to the following challenges:
* TGIF Challenges - #249 Valentine's day
* Make my monday - #115 I heart you
* The paper players - #476 Love is in the air
* Time out challenges - #154 Affectionate
