September Card Chain Challenge reveal

I tried something new this September; The Card Chain Challenge. The idea is that you sign up on the challenge, you get a challenge and then you send your finished card to a person you get assigned and then you get a card from another person.

My card was sent to Laura and looked like this. I used the august my monthly hero kit to create the card. I stamped the images and colored them using copic markers. I then used some of the puffy embossing powder on the cream to make it look creamy and yummy. I also cut some steam using dies from the kit.

I stamped the swirly background using an add on background stamp and cut this to a rounded rectanglish shape using a combination of a stitched rectangle die and a stitched circle die. I glued this panel on a orange panel that I matted using gold cardstock.

I glued my images on the heap of layers and stamped and white embossed the sentiment on a piece of brown cardstock wich I also matted with gold cardstock.

To finish the card I glued the whole thing on a brown card base.

And look what I received in my mail box yesterday; A lovely cat card from Gail (image borrowed from the Card chain challenge website). I am definently the right person for this card as I love cats and everything they are. Thank you so much, Gail.

I am entering my coffee card in the following challenges:
* Simon says stamp wednesday challenge - Anything goes (03.10)
* My time to craft challenge blog - Food & drink (04.10)
