Dearest friend
Some days ago I saw this gorgeous inspiration picture and sketch over at Fusion Card Challenges and I just had to make a card using the inspiration. I am also enjoying my new stamp from Altenew and with the Allsorts Challenge blog's current flowery challenge this just had to become a very flowery card. Yesterday evening I got to work and the result was this card.
I started stamping the large flower cluster stamp from Altenew's stamp set "Dearest friend" and colored it using my Zig clean color real brush markers. I made some highlights and details using my white gel to make the flowers more interesting to look at.
Imade a white background panel that I attatched a strip of loight blue patterned paper to. I had the intention to follow the sketch as well at this point and then I glued the fussy cut stamped image to the panel.
The sentiment is from the same stamp set as the image. I stamped it onto a fish taled white strip of cardstock wich I matted onto black cardstock. To follow the sketch I should have turned the image around and glued the sentiment the other way, but doing that I would have covered to much of the image so in the end I just followed the sketch to a certain point.
To finish the card I dotted a few drops of white Nuvo drops on the background and image and also glued on some beautiful sequins that unfortunately isn't photographing right. They actually shift in color between green and blue and gold.
Finally I matted my panel on a black card base.
