Sending flowery hugs

We all need hugs these days, I think. I know I go all mushy everytime I see people on TV-series giving eachother hugs and I hope we soon will hug again. Luckily we can send digital hugs and of course hugs in the form of cards and other paper crafts.

At A Blog Named Hero we are starting a new challenge today where the paper hugs are flying around. For my DT-project I have made an envelope full of hugs for you using dies from the January 2020 My Monthly Hero kit (The flowers and the envelope).

 I started the process by die cutting the envelope from a soft pink cardstock and lined it using white paper and I also glued it together. I then cut lots of flowers and colored these using my copic markers and a white gel pen. before I arranged the flowers inside the envelope.

I then used the "Bubbles bold print" background stamp and stamped a strip of paper in pink (Bubble gum and cotton candy), blue (summer sky and blue hawaii) and yellow (Fiesta yellow and Butter bar). I glued these to a piece of paper and used a stitched rectangle die to cut a card panel.

I glued the envelope to the bubble panel and stamped a sentiment from the February 2018 MMH kit to a white piece of cardstock. I then diecut it using a stitched circle die. I popped the sentiment circle up on foam tape and then glued it to the envelope.

To finish the card I glued the whole card panel to a white card base and glued on a few silver colored sequins.

I hope you will join us in making and sending paper hugs.

 I am adding this card to the following challenges:
* The Color Throwdown - #593 Yellow, pink and blue
* Color crazy challenge - Anything goes
* Crafty friends - #135 Flowers
*A Place to start - Create a custom background
