Hoppy birthday

A new challenge at The Male Room. This time we are welcoming the lovely and talented Ma-Mi on our design team. Check out all her lovely makes on Ma-Mi's blog.

This week we are diving into our nature stuff and I have made this very hoppy birthday card. It's a one layer scene where i have been masking some elements from the Lawn Fawn - "Toadally awesome" stamp set. This set is so cute.

Before the stamping I brushed on aqua color from a Hero Arts stamp pad using a distress brush. After the stamping I colored the images using Copic markers and highlighted them using a white gel pen. I also enhanced the black in the frog's eyes and made some extra water ripples. using a black pen.

I stamped the sentiment using a couple of brown distress inks and finished the image panel using clear Nuvo drops here and there.

I popped my panel up on foam tape and glued it on to a craft colored card base.

I hope you will join us in our new challenge.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:
* Simon says stamp monday challenge - Alcohol, Inks or drinks
* Simon says stamp wednesday challenge - Clean and simple
* Casology - Smile
