Coffee for a cat
Hello everyone! It's time for the first The Male Room challenge of 2019 and we are giving you an easy one this time. It's "Anything goes with an option of beverages" for the next couple of weeks.
For my DT-project I have made this male cat card for a friend that loves his cats and his coffee. To make this card I dug into my box of paper scraps and found a woodgrain to make a table, a blue plaid one to use as a table cloth and a dark patterned one to become the wall paper.
My cute cat wrapped around his coffee is a stamped image from the "Newton loves coffee" stamp set by Newton's nook. I love the Newton stamp sets and I really want them all. The image is colored using copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen. I glued the image on top of the table, popping it a bit up from the "wall" to create a bit of dimension.
I gold embossed the sentiment wich is from a sentiment stamp set by Norsk stempelblad. Unfortunately the pictures don't give it much credit. in real life it stands off the card a lot more.
To finish the card i glued the card panel on a white card base and scattered a few Nuvo drops in black around the cat.
I hope you'll have a great day and that you will join us in our challenge.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
* The paper players - PP423 Crazy about critters
* Crafty Catz - #443
* Ike's world challenges - #116 A is for Animals
