Pink christmas

It's almost christmas and I bet you are all (like I am) busy doing all kinds of everything these days. I guess the last few christmas cards are also being made as we are speaking.

For the next two weeks we are doing christmas cards using non-traditional christmas colors at Cardz 4 Galz and I have (as you see) chose pink as my main color.

For this card I started by coloring my stamped images from Hero arts. For the coloring I used a couple of Zig clean color Real brush markers in pinks and also a yellow color for the star. I also coated the images with iridecent glitter ink. It's really shimmery. Unfortunately that doeasn't really show up on pictures.

Anyway... I made a card panel by cutting a white piece of card stock using a stitched rectangle die. I then used a little distress ink in pink to make the pink spot on my panel.

I tied a ribbon in a bow on the bottom part of the panel before I glued my images on the card.

I made sure that the skating girl was placed with her foot on the ribbon to ground her a bit.

I glued some iridecent sequins around the card and made a banner stamped with a sentiment from the same stamp set as the images.

To finish the card I glued the panel on a white card base.

I hope you will join us in our non-traditional christmas colors weeks.
