Hello, who's there?

Back from a long pause from bloglandia and Instagram and I am sharing a christmas card with you today. Who says that you can't enjoy carolers in January as well.

After such a long break I needed to share something that just screams my style and that means bright colors and cute critters on a scene card. That is the most fun to make. I always create little stories in my head as well about what is happening when I am creating these cards and I love them to pieces.

I started with the fancy die shaped like a door from the Hero Arts My monthly hero November 2019 kit. I cut off the "outside parts" of the die cut to make it an inside door. I used some leftover pieces of patterned paper to create the floor, wallpaper and the skirting. I then cut the whole scene to size using a Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle die.

I stamped the polar bear from the "Beary happy holidays" stamp set, cut off his skates and colored him using my copic markers. I also gave the door a few shadows also using copics. I stamped the christmas flower also from the MMH set.

But then it was time for opening the door...

I used a couple of distress oxide inks to create the winter sky. I then used glitter paper to make the snowy ground. I stamped the playing and singing critters from the Lawn Fawn "Critter concert" stamp set and gave them santa hats from the Nov 19 MMH kit.

All the images are colored using copic markers.

To finish the card I covered the back part of the door and polar bear opening the door to clean the marker bleeding up and glued my card to a white card base.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:
