A new baby to love
I'm not at all done using the cute dandelion mice from Hero Arts. They are so stinking cute! And since we are revealing our new challebnge at Cardz 4 Galz today and since the theme this time is "Oh, pretty baby!" I decided to embrace the cuteness in my card.
For this card I started covering the background panel with pink and purple clouds using distress oxcide inks through a MFT cloud stencil. I then cut a couple of white rectangle strips using a Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle die. The die doesn't have this size, so I had to cut each stripe two times to get the stitching on all sides.
I popped the two white stripes up on foam before I attatched them to each side of the background panel.
I colored my parachuting mouse using my copic markers. I used W1, W3, W5 and W7 for the fur and R00, RV11 and R85 for the ears and tail and rosy cheeks, YG17 for the stem and YR27 and E19 for the seeds. For the fur I added some dot details for some extra detail.
I also added a few highlights using a white gel pen and some glittery details to the seed "whiskers" using my Wink of Stella brush.
I added my mouse to the right part of the card front, floating between the side panels and the sky.
The sentiment is from The "Rub-a-dub-dub" stamp set by Lawn Fawn that I stamped and cut using a banner die from MFT. I glued this to the bottom left of the card balancing the card.
For the last details I added some clear gems across the card. I also added a drop of glossy accents on the mouse's little nose before glueing the whole panel on a white card base.
I hope you will join us in our baby cuteness the next couple of weeks and I wish you a lovely day.
I am adding this card to the following challenges:
* Everybody art challenge - #441 Animals
* Pile on it - #151 Pretty in pink and/or Feeling blue
