Cheers

It's challenge day again at The Male Room and this time we are all about birthday. The Male Room celebrates it's 5th birthday so that calls for a beer.

I had this idea about a giant glass of beer at the front of the card, but I didn't have any beer stamps so I just had to draw one. I found some inspiration online and drew the best I could and colored the image using my copic markers. I really love the color of the beer. It ended up so vibrant and cool. I drew in some highlights with a white gel pen. The sentiments are from the cheers Ali Edwards stamp set and the march Hero Arts my monthly hero kit. I gold embossed these.

The background was made using an old stencil. I shifted it around and used several different shades of brown to make a messy dotted background. I also found some left over pieces of patterned paper and glued on a couple of strips of them.

Finally I popped the beer glass up on some foam tape and attatched it to the background panel and made some yellow dots using my Nuvo drops. I mounted the whole thing on a dark brown card base.

We are hoping for a little extra help in the celebration. Off to the craft rooms and find something birthday themed.
