Baby card

We have some friends who recently got a baby boy. So yesterday I made this welcome card for the new baby and his mother and father.

It's a fun little shaker card made using stamps from the stamp set "Rub-adub-dub" from Lawn Fawn. I can't tell you how much I love this stamp set. It's just so extremely cute! Just look at those duckies. Awww!

I colored the stamp prints using Copic markers. I also colored a strip of white cardstock to stamp my sentiment on since I couldn't fint the right shade of grey (no wonder I couldn't find the right one since it is 50 of them I have heard...).

The frame with pom-poms is from Crate paper. I glued some acetate on it and filled it with sequins and some blue and see-through seed beads. The frame and the colored duckies and their barthroom accessories to a panel where I have stenciled light molding paste in the shape of a brick wall.

The whole panel was then glued to a top folded white card base and I finished off the card by adding some wink of stella and glossy accent to a few places on the card.
